Pico & Chill shows that sometimes less is more. It's a kind of simplicity that's hard to explain—but being made with PICO-8's—you can tell every note placed with the sole purpose of making the most of the limitations.
It's so good at making the most of those limitations, that I often forget that Pico & Chill was even made with PICO-8. (Aside from the name reminding me, of course.) Each track has a corresponding PICO-8 cart, if you're curious about what's behind the scenes.
